Sources invites researchers, PhD holders, and PhD students to submit their articles—including data papers—and drafts of articles that fit with the journal’s editorial purposes, for publication in its varia issues. One such issue is published per year. Authors may submit their work at any time.

All articles are double peer reviewed including at least one double-blind peer review.

Articles may be written in French, English, Portuguese, or other languages. They must be sent alongside with a document providing—in French or in English—the name of the author, her·his institutional affiliation or a short biography, and a list of keywords.
